| | Well, if you've been very observant, you'll have that noticed you haven't heard from me in a while. I've been painting and prepping for several shows or art markets in April and May, spent some time not painting enjoying Chicago (two days at the Art Institute!) some days at the ocean renewing my energy, did some necessary Spring gardening, and suddenly I'm about to participate in a two-day Open Studio and haven't told anyone about it! So we'll start with that. |

Once a year, the artists of Davis can show off their work to all who want to come see it. This year I opted in and am sharing space with a friend and amazing ceramicist whose studio is adjacent to her beautiful garden and house. If you are or can be anywhere near Davis, I hope you will come take an art walk and enjoy both the art and the garden. I have also completed some new work, some of which will be viewable next weekend. Since I was invited to be in some summer art markets in Winters, I thought I should create some small pieces. Here are 10 new 6x6" stretched canvasses still available. A bit decorative even small art can liven up a small space here and there (just come check out my kitchen!)

"Undecided Moon" is a 12" square mixed media piece on a wood panel. The little yellow dress is completely made of clay and a product of my Open Studio host, Emma Luna. |
