One item needs your attention right now: H.R. 9694 / S. 5005, the Epstein Files Transparency Act II, which VOICE supports. The bill would close the loopholes in last year's original transparency law by giving survivors, state attorneys general, and members of Congress the power to sue over withheld or redacted records, guaranteeing survivors access to unredacted files about themselves, and adding criminal penalties for officials who conceal them.
This is marked URGENT. Sponsors have said they'll file a discharge petition if the House doesn't act within 7 legislative days — and the window to call is now, before the House recesses again.
