Councillor Anthony Flynn contacted DCIF about the ICHH Response Team. Their mobile outreach support vehicles and staff will be available to provide assistance to those within the NEIC/Cabra/Glasnevin and surrounding districts. If you are aware of anyone who maybe cocooning, isolating, on the pandemic unemployment payment & may require additional supports such as a food parcels, medication collection or other supports, this can be organised by calling the number above Monday-Sunday from
10-6pm and the teams can assist. The teams deal with referrals in confidence.

Max Arthur Macauliffe Commemoration Project |
Anne Rizzol (Community Development DirectorateLimerick City and County Council) has shared exciting news. The Max Arthur Macauliffe Commemoration Ceremony has been shortlisted to the top six projects from across the country for a Chambers Ireland, Excellence in Local Government Award 2020 -thanks especially to the help and cooperation of the people of Templeglatine and the Sikh community in Ireland. The results will be announced online on November 26th.

DCIF Faith Leaders and Standing Against Domestic Violence

As mentioned, Anna from the Offaly Domestic Violence Support Service aims to connect with faith leaders to bring more awareness and resources to ethnic minority communities in Ireland. She was kind enough to share some of the resources already created; please click the button below to look at the brochures and learn more and focus on moving forward with this project.
