My INsnyde Take: Indiana Folds, MAGA Panics, and Democrats Finally Get It

The second Indiana Republicans even hinted at standing up to Trump, we all knew they’d fold faster than a Walmart lawn chair in an Indiana thunderstorm. The excuses are as predictable as they are pathetic — “This isn’t about Trump, it’s about unity,” they whimper, while clutching their political futures like security blankets. Let’s call it what it is: Indiana Republicans finally understand what it really means to be owned by Trump — humiliated in public and obedient in private, all while pretending it’s “strategy.”

As Beto O’Rourke told me in a recent interview, “fuck the rules.” No more playing with one hand tied behind our backs. Democrats need to be ruthlessly focused on the pursuit of power. Because while MAGA spirals into chaos and the GOP clings to Trump’s coattails, Virginia has moved, Colorado and Maryland are next, and Texas just backfired spectacularly. The panic is palpable — and the best part? There’s not a damn thing MAGA can do to stop Speaker Jeffries from taking the gavel.

Todd Young Discovers Congress Exists—After the Bombs Fall

Sen. Todd Young is apparently shocked to discover Congress is supposed to be informed before the bombs drop. The Indiana Republican voiced “concern” that lawmakers were left out of the loop on U.S. strikes near Venezuela — a bold stand for oversight, now that the explosions are already echoing across the Caribbean.

Beau Bayh Brings a Pulse Back to Indiana’s River Country

Indiana’s “river country” may have drifted deep red, but Beau Bayh is betting Hoosiers still crave integrity more than party labels — a dangerous notion for an Indiana GOP that’s grown fat on complacency and no-bid contracts. While Diego Morales burns taxpayer cash on luxury SUVs and family payrolls, Beau’s making the radical pitch that competence, accountability, and fair elections might actually matter again.

Trump and the art of redistricting

Donald Trump now is teaching Indiana Republicans a hard lesson about what it means to serve a president who cares only about himself.

Hoosiers Pay the Price for GOP’s War on Affordable Care

Roughly 295,000 Hoosiers are about to get a cruel reminder of what “small government” really means: no help when the bills come due. If Congress lets the ACA’s enhanced tax credits expire, premiums will more than double, millions will lose coverage, and thousands will lose jobs — all so Republicans can brag about “fiscal responsibility” while hospitals drown in unpaid care and working families get priced out of survival.

RoQita’s War on the Constitution

Todd Rokita’s latest stunt—joining 23 other red-state attorneys general to question birthright citizenship—isn’t about law; it’s about loyalty to Trump. The 14th Amendment couldn’t be clearer, but apparently, reading comprehension isn’t a job requirement for Indiana’s Attorney General. Rokita swore an oath to uphold the Constitution—just not, apparently, the parts he finds inconvenient.

How Trump's ballroom will dwarf the White House...

President Donald Trump’s project to build an expansive new White House ballroom officially broke ground Monday. Crews tore down the East Wing in only four days, despite Trump’s claim that the ballroom wouldn’t “interfere” with the existing building. There has been little public information released about the layout or design of the addition, which would be the largest ever, with a planned size almost double the footprint of the 55,000-square-foot main section of the White House.

GOVT CLAIMS INFLATION '3%'... REAL OR FAKE?

That’s the specter critics of President Donald Trump have raised after he fired the head of the US Bureau of Labor Statistics this month after disappointing jobs data. While there’s no indication the data has been rigged (assertions from the White House aside) – or will be rigged in the future – the White House’s nomination of a partisan to lead the government’s economic data agency was enough to worry global economic and financial circles.

On Thursday, Enten went over the latest polling on how Americans feel about President Donald Trump’s handling of the economy.
