Are You Registered?

  • Check your registration anytime at scVOTES.gov — even if you've voted before.

  • Registration deadlines: Friday, October 2 (in person) • Sunday, October 4 (online) • Monday, October 5 (by mail, postmarked).

  • Know someone who isn't registered? Help them sign up at scVOTES.gov right away.

How will you vote?

  • Early voting: Monday, October 19 – Saturday, October 31, 8:30 am – 6:00 pm (closed Sunday). No excuse needed, and you can use any early voting center in Horry County.

  • Absentee (mail) ballot: You must qualify with an approved reason. Applications are due by 5:00 pm, Friday, October 23. Completed ballots must be received by 7:00 pm on November 3.

    • Important: Absentee ballots must be mailed or delivered to the Horry County elections office in Conway. They CAN be dropped off at an early voting site. If you return yours in person, bring your photo ID. Mailing it at least a week before Election Day is recommended.

  • Election Day, Tuesday, November 3: Polls are open 7:00 am – 7:00 pm. If you're in line by 7, you can vote.

Ready to go?

  • Bring a photo ID (driver's license, passport, military ID, or SC voter registration card with photo — full list at scVOTES.gov).

  • Look up your polling place, your early voting options, and a sample ballot at scVOTES.gov.

  • Line up a ride — or offer one to a friend!
