🚀 Space Industry Forum 2026 | Singapore (ATxSG week)

Image description

Held during ATxSG week in Singapore, the inaugural conference brought together over 200 senior industry and policy leaders in a highly successful gathering co-organised by Novaspace and GSOA, with support from IMDA, APSCC and AVIA. The event saw strong engagement and high-quality discussions throughout.

The forum highlighted the maturing of the APAC space sector, shifting from discussion to execution, with key themes including the evolution of satellite operators into broader space infrastructure providers, growing emphasis on sovereignty and collaboration, and the increasing integration of space and terrestrial ecosystems. Regulation, launch innovation and outcome-driven priorities such as resilience, security and interoperability were also central to the conversations shaping the region’s next phase of growth.

Beyond the conference, GSOA engaged with members at the Asia Tech x Singapore exhibition and its SatelliteAsia track, and moderated three panels during the week, contributing to wider industry engagement across the ecosystem.

📅 Save the date: 25 May 2027 – we look forward to welcoming you to the next edition!

Building the Intelligent Ground Segment:

Reducing Cost and Complexity with RF-over-IP

Image description

Satellite ground infrastructure is undergoing a major transformation as operators move towards more intelligent, software-defined and interoperable networks. With commercial and government organisations scaling multi-orbit services and increasing network capacity, the pressure is on to simplify ground infrastructure while improving flexibility, resilience and operational efficiency.

This session will explore how RF-over-IP technologies are helping reshape the SATCOM ground segment by reducing capital and operational costs, simplifying deployment and maintenance, improving security and signal performance, and enabling more scalable and agile network architectures.

The discussion will also examine the growing role of the Digital IF Interoperability Consortium (DIFI) standard in creating open, interoperable environments that allow RF hardware, digitisation platforms and virtualised infrastructure to work together more seamlessly.

Join industry experts to learn how intelligent, IP-based ground architectures are enabling the next generation of more efficient, flexible and future-ready SATCOM operations.
