Hindu Memorial Day (HMD) is an annual day for British Hindus to honour the countless Hindus throughout the centuries who dedicated their lives to protect and preserve Hindu Dharma.



We hope this will develop into an annual event where British Hindu communities will come together in collective remembrance and celebration of their shared history. This day will also provide an opportunity to inspire our youth to explore their history. As leaders of temples and Hindu community organisations we encourage you to organise an HMD event in your locality.



We have designed a very simple and short program lasting no more than 1 hour which any organisation will be able host with minimal preparation. By the end of August, we will release an information pack with further details and a guide to hosting your local event.
