The thank you letter we received from the students

It was our pleasure to go to Manvel High School in May to help teach the kids Anatomy and Physiology using soundwaves. It was so much fun helping them gain new understanding of bones and body parts by utilizing Ultrasound technology. By the end of the day, we spoke to many future healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and ultrasound technicians who said that they had felt inspired after what they had learned during our time together.

In all, we absolutely loved the comments that we received from the teacher of the class, as well as the students before we left. Jaci, our team, and I are already planning our next visit as new students are being told and the previous students are “still talking about it.” It is our goal to reach more schools in the future.

Letter from Mrs. Anne -

Please meet Mrs. Anne who is our Donations Coordinator. Since our grand opening back in February, Anne has been instrumental in organizing our Baby Boutique. She creates beautiful “Mommy Bags” and layettes overflowing with new baby items as well as managing our Baby Bucks program. Anne is an independent, hardworking, and beautiful lady who loves God and serves Him with all she has. I love your heart, Anne, and I couldn’t have ever asked for anyone better to help fulfill the role that you have with us!! We are so grateful for you! - Renee

When my mother was pregnant with me, she contracted German measles right past the first trimester which is right around the time the hearing is being formed. This resulted in a severe to profound hearing loss. Her doctor offered her an option to abort me. But praise God, she rejected that and chose life. Because of this, I have always wanted to volunteer at a pregnancy center but never had the opportunity.

About a year ago, I saw a post on Facebook that a pregnancy center was being opened in Manvel and that they were requesting donations. I knew that I wanted to volunteer so I prayed that if this was God’s will for me to do this that two criteria had to be met: the center had to offer alternatives to abortion and to share the gospel with every client. As I dropped off the donations, Renee Arriaga asked me if I was willing to volunteer and she assured me that this was their goal. God faithfully answered that prayer.

My volunteer duties are to manage and stock our baby boutique, track and organize all the donations, create beautiful baby layettes for our clients, and to make mommy bags for each new client. It is such a joy and blessing to be the hands and feet of Jesus in serving our clients. As Jesus so rightfully said in Acts 20:35, “...It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

One of our very first clients was undecided whether she wanted to abort or keep her baby. She told her mom that if she could see a heartbeat, she wouldn’t abort, otherwise, she was going to book a flight to Colorado for an abortion. When Jaci performed the ultrasound, she was just far along enough that a heartbeat was seen! BUT GOD! In tears, she chose life for her baby. That holy moment of sacred life being chosen confirmed that I was exactly where I needed to be and that God had indeed ordained the center to be used for His purpose and for His glory. - Anne H
