September Update

Image description

Dear W

We can't believe it's September already! As the days begin to shorten and autumn arrives, we're excited to share this edition of SMHF News packed with opportunities to connect, learn, stay active and find support.

This month we're delighted to welcome back our Women's Emotional Wellbeing Workshop, a popular four-week programme led by Tinki Gupta that helps women build confidence, improve wellbeing and make positive changes.

Also coming up is our Brazilian Culture Day fundraising event, bringing together the food, music, culture and community of Brazil, while raising vital funds to support local mental health services.

As a heads up, we are preparing to relaunch In Your Corner, our winter Sunday wellbeing service, offering a warm meal, friendly company and support for anyone who may be struggling. And don't forget we are still out and about offering housing and wellbeing support with Citizens Advice Sutton, and you can still get support with cost of living issues on Fridays at Belmont Connect.

If you have ever fancied taking on a running challenge, why not join our runners for the brand new Run South London half marathon, PLUS check out our the latest job vacancies at SMHF.

Whether you're looking for support, trying something new, meeting people, volunteering, fundraising or simply finding out what's happening in the community, there's something for everyone. We hope to see you at one of our events or services soon.

All the best

Lisa, Ovie & the SMHF Team
