69 ultrasounds,
out of 57 moms, 95% chose life
sent out over 100 parenting videos per month
served 53 ladies through our Baby Bucks Program
gifted 18 moms with their layettes full of new baby items!

We’ve given out...

10 cans of food/baby formula
40 packs of diapers
40 packs of wipes
$1000 worth of physical supplies to moms and babies

And we’re just getting started!!

Letter from the Director of HHPHC Theresa Renee Arriaga

There have been many days of my life that have been wonderful, but Valentine’s Day of ’23, was very impactful for me. A young lady came to us convinced that she wouldn’t make a very good mom and had already made a Planned Parenthood appointment. But she came to see us first. Once she saw the first flickers of life evident in her belly representing the heartbeat of her baby, she said that she could no longer keep her appointment. Ultimately, she chose life. With God’s help, a heart was saved, at Her Heart, on Valentine’s Day.

We had been praying for our first client for over two years. Thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness. Now, we are getting ready for this young mom to welcome her baby boy in October. To God be the glory.

Deep inside, we all have a yearning to be used by God to bring about change in this world. Romans 8:28 tells us:

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

Therefore, when God answers your prayers to be used for His glory, it is so satisfying. Who, but God, could turn my (our) bad into good for His purposes? Only He does that. Has God been tugging at your heart to help somewhere or to use your gifts, skills, or talents for His good?

God has saved my heart by taking my past abortion mistakes and transforming them into victories. Instead of allowing me to re-live my past which led to loneliness, hurt, depression, and shame for past choices that I made, He has now fully forgiven me and has blessed me abundantly. He now uses my gifts to help others from potentially making the same mistakes that I did.

No matter what decisions we end up making, God continues to forgive, and He continues to give grace to the humble. So, when I humbly asked Him to use me and to bless Her Heart Pregnancy Help Center to assist other ladies in the same decision station of life that I was in, He has done that.

We have seen many clients in the last six months, representing many different situations, but God is good, and His love and mercy shows up every time. With all our hearts here at HerHeart, we thank you for partnering with us as we strive to bring excellent pregnancy help to every family in need with love, hope, compassionate support, education, and excellent, no cost medical care.

Goals and Vision for the next 6 Months

We are aiming to add more Advocates, so that we can increase our weekly operating hours. We plan to create and run an online store featuring “Unique Handmade Gifts” to help benefit our budget and offset our operating expenses.

Baby Bottle Fundraiser

In May we started a baby bottle campaign which raised over $12,000 to help out our moms and babies. Churches/groups who helped raise money for our center were: House of Refuge, Catholic Daughters, Redemption Church, Church of the Harvest, First Colony Bible Chapel, and Hebron Church. Thanks, from the bottom of our hearts for helping us become established in Manvel. Due to high popularity, we are hosting another one starting September 3rd. So, if you know of a church, small group, business, or troop that would like to participate in this simple and fun fundraiser, please call 281-692-2151 to invite us to speak with your group.

Calling All Coffee Lovers!

We have partnered with Seven Weeks Coffee who will donate 10% of your order to help our Pregnancy Center. Why Seven Weeks? At seven weeks of development a baby is the size of a coffee bean—and for the first time, a heartbeat is clearly detectable. Authentic Manhood Class

We welcome all men who want to grow and learn. Please come to our Authentic Manhood class each first Thursday of the month, from 6-7 pm, for dinner and fellowship.

Volunteer your TALENTS! Please crochet, sew, use your gifts of marketing, or apply your business skills. Or volunteer to fundraise, become a Director, teach a class, or become a Client Advocate.

Volunteer your TREASURE! Your money or any gifts that we could use in a Silent Auction or place onto our future Online Store. Or, by giving diapers, wipes, new or gently used baby clothes, new strollers or cribs, toys, etc.

Partner with US! Everything we do depends on generous donors. The lifeblood of any ministry is found in its MONTHLY DONORS.
