What's Happening?
Dear - God bless you. I'm trying a different email system, so hope this is OK. I do hope that you're ok with me dropping you an email about our local church news. (By the way - if you don't want to receive my emails please just reply to me with UNSUBSCRIBE, and I will be sure to stop further emails to you.) We do love keeping in touch with anyone who has an interest in our church - we love to serve and be a blessing to you any way that we can!
As a church we are truly excited about the future. There's many challenges. But God is faithful. The church is growing, and the Lord is touching many lives.
Psalms 91:1-4 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. 3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. 4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
It was a blessing to have Doug Carragher from Wounded Spirits Ministries join us - he ministered on healing from hurts (PTSD) through Christ. Several people trusted the Lord in the meetings. You can see all the sessions online.
If you are interested in the annual meeting of the church you can view. Only a few people attended! Pray with us, as we look to the Lord for His leading as a church in the days ahead.
There are many challenges. Our general operating expenses are over $2400 a week. Our regular offerings at church are only about half that amount. We do not have much funds in reserve. We do everything we can to keep costs down and to be good stewards of any funds that the Lord entrusts us with.
We thank God for you who do faithfully support this ministry. We know people are giving sacrificially. A few people are using online giving, which really helps cover ministry needs. By the way - one of our number has a pressing need - a mum and her daughter have desperate need of accommodation - if anyone has a spare bedroom - please let me know ASAP - they face being out on the street on Monday.
Please pray for our sister Raelene at this time, for her health challenges and her difficult situation - also for Ralph Anderson at the passing of his dear wife Jenny.
