Dear Marsha,
I’m excited to announce the launch of my new biography of a once-famous, now long-forgotten author, screenwriter, and public personality, Becoming The Ex-Wife: The Unconventional Life & Forgotten Writings of Ursula Parrott, which will be published on April 25th. If you’d like to learn more about how and why I decided to tell the story of this fascinating woman, check out the Q&A that was published yesterday at the UC Press website.
This is my first ever newsletter, and you can quickly unsubscribe by clicking here. If you’d like to see more, I will be newslettering (one to three times a month) about Ursula and related subjects and I’d love for you to stay tuned.
I’ll be kicking off my book tour with an informal discussion at my favorite local bookstore, So & So Books, in Raleigh on Tuesday April 25th at 6pm and with a screening of The Divorcee (1930) at The Cary Theater on Wednesday April 26th at 7pm before heading to the D.C. area for events at the National Gallery of Art, The American Film Institute Silver Theater, The Old Greenbelt Theater, and my Alma Mater, the University of Maryland, College Park. Future events will be listed on my website.
